Healthy and tasty! Bottled salad dressings usually have questionable ingredients - water, sugar - vinegar- salt- added fats. Its just a junk food coating for your salad. Not real food. My version is nutrition added onto your greens or healthy breads. So you eat it guilt-free!

I started my recipe by picking fresh cilantro from my organic veggie and herb garden.

I started in the garden to get my own organic fresh cilantro to create this nutritious elixir to stir into a bowl of greens or the smear it onto some healthy home made bread. Some avocado for natural smoothness - no other added fats, some apple cider vinegar to add tartness and boost your health and natural raw honey for immunity benefits. This is real food to boost your body and yet so delicious. A full recipe I calculated to be around 210 calories. If you pour half over your green salad, that's only 105 calories of goodness. Save the rest in the fridge for later, or dip your home made bread sticks into it. Yum!

Start with organic and fresh ingredients.

Ingredients:

- 1 medium avocado

- 1/2 fresh lime, squeezed

- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves

- 2 tbsp corriander seeds, crushed

- 1/2 cup unsweetened organic almond milk

- 1/4 cup organic apple cider vinegar

- 1 tbsp raw organic honey

After you gather your cilantro and other ingredients, begin by mashing the avocado with a potato masher.

Mash the avocado until it is creamy and smooth.

When the avocado is mashed until it is smooth, ad the half lime with juice and pulp.

Squeeze the lime unto the mashed avocado.

Add the 1/4 cup of organic apple cider vinegar to the avocado/lime mixture.

Stir well after you add the vinegar to the avocado mixture.

Then add 1/2 cup of organic unsweetened almond milk.

Stir well after you add the 1/2 cup almond milk.

Finely chop the fresh cilantro. Whether you got it from a farmers' market or grocery store, fresh cilantro smells so nice and has more flavour than the dried kind in bottles.

Chop the cilantro finely, then place it in the avocado mix.

I then crushed my own cilantro seeds. You can buy bottled cilantro in the spice section if that would be easier for you.

Either crush corriander seed in a mortar or spice grinder, or purchase it in the spice section of your store!

Stir the mixture and spices until well mixed. Then you can transfer it into a decanter and store in the fridge until ready to use.

Your dressing is ready to be stored in the fridge until you need it.

Great on a bowl of fresh field or garden greens. Or use it as a dip for veggies or bread sticks.
