An organic protein punch that tastes wonderful!

Just a two-part recipe process - make the natural cocoa-coconut oil chocolate chunks, and then mix up the steel cut oatmeal protein dough and combine the two mixes.

First start with the chocolate chunk ingredients:

- 1/4 cup organic virgin coconut oil

- 1 tbsp organic raw unpasteurized honey

- 2 tsp organic unsweetened cocoa powder

- 1 tsp organic vanilla extract

- 1 pinch pink Himalayan pink sea salt

Mix all the chocolate ingredients into a heat proof bowl.

Stir the chocolate mix well. Then place the bowl into the microwave for 15 to 20 seconds on high - just until the chocolate mixture is melted.

Take the warm melted chocolate out of the microwave and stir again.

Line a small square or rectangular dish with parchment paper.

Transfer the melted chocolate onto the parchment paper.

Once the chocolate is transferred to the dish, place the dish into the fridge or freezer, to cool and harden.

While the chocolate is cooling, prepare the steel cut oatmeal mixture.

Steel cut oatmeal protein ball ingredients:

- 1 scoop Vega Protein powder (41 grams)

- 1/2 cup organic steel cut oats

- 1/2 cup organic buckwheat flakes

- 2 tbsp organic raw unpasteurized honey

- 2 tsp organic cinnamon

- 6 tbsp cold filtered water

Place all ingredients except the water into a bowl and mix well.

Stir the ingredients well. Add the cold filtered water 2 tablespoons at a time and keep stirring. The mixture will start to come together and form a dough ball.

Once the steel cut oatmeal mix has become a dough ball, get the cooled and hardened chocolate out of the fridge.

Lift the chocolate out of the plate by lifting the edges of the parchment paper. Remove the parchment paper by peeling it off the chocolate. Place the chocolate on a cutting board.

Chop the chocolate slab into bite-sized chunks.

Place the chopped chocolate chunks into the bowl of steel cut oatmeal mixture. Gently fold the chocolate chunks into the mixture.

With clean hands, take about a tablespoon of mix and roll it between your hands. Place the rolled balls onto a sheet of parchment paper. Keep rolling balls until the mixture is all gone.
