Chocolate Dipped Organic Strawberries - Healthy cocoa and coconut oil chocolate

Strawberries are a great fruit choice for most dieters because not only are they low in calories, but also have vitamins, antioxidants. that help reduce inflammation and protect against diseases. They are lower in sugars and carbohydrates than most fruits making them keto compatible. Combine this with rich and healthy cocoa powder which is a source of antioxidants as well as flavanols which may reduce the risk of heart disease by lowering blood pressure. Coconut oil is a favourite amongst ketogenic dieters to increase ketone levels. Some organic raw honey adds sweetness without the side effects of processed white sugar. Raw honey is filled with phytonutrients and has antibacterial properties and helps with immunity. All these health and diet benefits in a lovely sweet strawberry chocolate treat!

A sweet strawberry treat with so many health benefits!

To begin making the healthy Chocolate Dipped Strawberries, assemble the chocolate coating ingredients:


- 1/4 cup virgin organic coconut oil

- 1 tbsp raw organic honey

- 2 tbsp organic unsweetened cocoa powder

- 1/2 tsp organic vanilla extract

- 1 pinch of pink Himalayan sea salt



Assemble the chocolate dip ingredients.

Put all the chocolate dip ingredients into a heat proof bowl or cup and stir.


Microwave the chocolate mixture in the microwave on the high setting for 20 seconds.


Stir the melted chocolate mixture again after you remove it from the microwave.

Once you take the melted chocolate mixture from the microwave, and then stir it again, it is now ready for dipping.


Prepare a mini muffin tin by placing 12 mini muffin paper cups in it.

Get 12 large rinsed and dried, chilled organic strawberries ready for dipping.

Grab each strawberry by the green leaf tops, and dip into the chocolate mixture. Quickly move each strawberry over into a paper muffin cup. Repeat until all 12 strawberries have been dipped.


Dipped chocolate strawberries are placed in the paper muffin cups.

Any left over melted chocolate can be evenly distributed and poured over the strawberries.

Place the tin of strawberries into the fridge to cool and harden the chocolate coating.

Remove the strawberries once the chocolate is firm, to serve.
