Double Chocolate Protein Balls

A super chocolatey protein punch with healthy ingredients will give you the energy boost you need and wow your mouth with a tasty chocolate/cocoa flavour treat! Easy to make in just a few minutes with only 3 ingredients. Depending on how large you roll your dough, they can be from around 50 - 80 calories each. Easy on the waistline and feeds your body with nutrition.

Creamy chocolate balls rolled in more chocolate cocoa powder for lots of chocolate flavour and the nutrition of organic cocoa.

This Easy recipe has only 3 ingredients.

Ingredients:

1. 20 grams chocolate flavoured protein powder (2 tbsp.)

2. 2 tbsp organic almond butter

3. 1 tbsp organic cocoa powder

Stir the protein powder with the almond butter until it becomes a dough

Mix the first 2 ingredients in the medium bowl and keep stirring until it forms a ball of dough.

Place a tbsp of organic cocoa powder in a small dish next to the mixed protein dough

Get a small dish or plate to hold the 1 tbsp cocoa powder and set it close to the mixed protein and almond butter dough.

Place the 1 tbsp of organic cocoa powder in the small dish.

Begin to scoop 1 tsp fulls of the protein almond butter dough into your clean hands and roll the dough into small balls.

Dip the small protein balls into organic cocoa and set on a plate

The small protein balls that you rolled in your hands, are then dipped into organic unsweetened cocoa for an extra rich chocolaty coating over the creamy chocolate balls.

Delicious melt in your mouth chocolate balls that are filled with nutritios protein powder and dipped in more organic cocoa for an extra chocolate punch.

I rolled out 5 protein balls that would be approximately 78 calories each. If you make 6 balls they would be about 65 calories each. Eight smaller protein balls are about 48 calories each. If you eat the whole batch then slap on your running shoes and get ready to work off around 390 calories. All good muscle building nutrition for your workouts!
