Switch up your food ingredients

I am sure you have some food favourites, and feel like mourning the loss of having the enjoyment of things like cake, chips and pizza and beer. That's the reason I am sharing a lot of my health food recipes on this website to show you how to switch up ingredients to some old favourites, so you can still enjoy fun foods without giving in to unhealthy food choices.


Good old pizza and beer used to be one of my favourites. Now love sparkling water, fresh veggies and herbs.

It becomes a learning process and change of habits and change of taste pallet to start to appreciate the finer flavours of fresh fruits and veggies and subtle herbs. But there is a starting point; start by eliminating sweet drinks and alcohol for water, sparkling water, lemon water or zero sugar flavoured water. At first your taste buds may miss their usual brand, but it won't take long to prefer water over heavier sugar drinks.


Replace typical high calorie ingredients with lighter versions. Check out my recipes gallery for some ideas.
